Heerlijk de ruimte nemen voor jouw creativiteit. Voor het opnieuw aanwakkeren van de kunstenaar/muzikant/maker in jou, voor het eindelijk uitvoeren van iets waar je al lang over nadenkt, of voor het ontdekken van wat je op dit moment eigenlijk inspireert. Of je nu een ervaren maker bent, al lang niets hebt gemaakt, of nog nooit iets hebt gecreëerd: je bent welkom.

Van 5 t/m 9 augustus organiseren wij - Amber en Josephine - een intieme artist in residence om ruimte te creëren voor een groep mooie mensen, op een prachtige locatie in het noorden van Frankrijk: Perron des Ardennes. Op slechts vier uur rijden vanaf Rotterdam bevind je je ineens in een andere wereld - midden in de natuur, tussen de bomen (en de kunstwerken), met stilte, ruimte en heerlijk eten. En, vanzelfsprekend, elke ochtend een knapperige verse baguette.

We bieden je graag een fijne bedding voor jouw maakproces. Je krijgt je eigen atelierplek om aan een project te werken, te experimenteren zonder doel, of juist toe te werken naar een kunstwerk. Elke ochtend landen we samen in de dag met een korte meditatie of wat beweging en bieden we vrije, creatieve opdrachten aan. De rest van de dag heb je alle ruimte om je over te geven aan jouw creatieproces. Wanneer je daar behoefte aan hebt, bieden we ook 1-op-1 ondersteuning, inspiratie en begeleiding.

’s Avonds eten we samen en bieden we optionele programma’s aan: van filmavond tot dansen, van muziek rond het vuur tot een verkleedfeest. Alles mag, niets moet. We stemmen af op wat er in de groep leeft.

En als kers op de taart: we hebben een fantastische kok die vier dagen lang heerlijke, verse en voedende maaltijden voor ons kookt.

Woensdag
Aankomst vanaf 16:00 – potluck diner – speelse kennismakingsoefeningen om je intentie en inspiratie voor de dagen te verhelderen.

Geleid begin met beweging of meditatie

Vrij werk in atelier of buiten

Vrij werk in je eigen flow
Wandelingen, rust, schrijven, voelen

🌾 Praktisch
📍 Locatie: Perron des Ardennes – een groene, rustige plek in Noord-Frankrijk (ca. 4 uur rijden vanaf Rotterdam)
⛺ Verblijf: Kamperen of een (prive) kamer in het hoofdgebouw (dit kost iets extra).
Bij de standaardticket zit een kampeerplekje inbegrepen. Je kan met je tentje op een prachtig veld staan naast het hoofdgebouw, met genoeg ruimte om je eigen space te creeeren en tot rust te komen.

4 nachten verblijf (standaardticket; kamperen, extra optie; een kamer boeken)

💌 Eind juli ontvang je een voorbereidende mail om ruimte te maken voor jezelf, je intentie te zetten, en iets mee te nemen van thuis dat je verbindt met je creatieve zelf (zoals een voorwerp, herinnering of intuïtieve vondst).

💡 Wat kun je zelf meenemen?
Creatieve materialen die je graag gebruikt: camera, stof, naaimachine, beeldhouwspullen, kralen.

Artist in residence

Taking the time and space for your creativity. To reignite the artist/musician/maker within you, to finally bring to life something you’ve been thinking about for a long time, or to discover what truly inspires you right now. Whether you’re an experienced maker, haven’t created in a while, or have never really made anything before - you are welcome.

From August 5th to 9th, we - Amber and Josephine - are hosting an intimate artist in residence, creating space for a small group of beautiful humans at a stunning location in the north of France: Perron des Ardennes. Just a four-hour drive from Rotterdam, you suddenly find yourself in a different world - surrounded by nature, among the trees (and artworks), with silence, space, and delicious food. And, of course, a fresh, crispy baguette every morning.

We offer a supportive and nourishing setting for your creative process. You’ll have your own studio space to work on a project, experiment without a goal, or move towards creating something tangible. Each morning, we gently arrive into the day together with a short meditation or some movement, followed by open creative prompts. The rest of the day is yours - to immerse yourself in your process. If you feel the need, we also offer one-on-one support, inspiration, and guidance.

In the evenings, we share meals and offer optional activities: from movie nights to dancing, from music around the fire to a costume party. Everything is optional, nothing is required. We tune into what naturally emerges within the group.

And to top it off: we have a fantastic cook who will prepare delicious, fresh, and nourishing meals for us for four days.

🌾 Practical information
📍 Location: Perron des Ardennes – a green, peaceful place in the north of France (approx. 4-hour drive from Rotterdam)
⛺ Accommodation: Camping or a private room in the main building (which costs a little extra).
The standard ticket includes a camping spot. You can pitch your tent in a beautiful field next to the main building, with plenty of space to create your own little area and unwind.
We also have other options available like a caravan or tipitent, text us to discuss what suits you best!
