The Inner Escape - Paris Edition

It is time to step out of your daily life, full of incentives and control, and commit yourself to entering a new dimension devoid of anything.

Inspired by the work of Marina Abramović, MASCAS designed a brand-new experience titled The Inner Escape, a crossover between self-development, performance art, and urban exploration.

MASCAS has its own unique approach to bringing several exercises to you. The exercises will focus on space, consciousness, duration, expression, and silence, and will be held in a safe environment, without going into extremes.

After various editions in nature and at secret locations, MASCAS takes this workshop to a new, unique location in Paris, which will be revealed upon registration.

Facilitators
Thomas Bijen and Dorchess de Koning will guide the workshop.

Thomas Bijen (1980) is a creative all-rounder. Although his background is in technical sciences, it is art, the creative process, and interaction with people that truly drive him. He obtained his Master of Science in Industrial Design Engineering from TU Delft and has been working from his studio in Rotterdam for the past decade. In addition, he teaches as a designer at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and organises creative retreats in places such as Andalusia.

Dorchess is a certified embodiment coach, experience designer, and the founder of Awe Academy. With a background in mental health science, art, systemic work and action methods, she is a sought-after facilitator and keynote speaker.

Her purpose is to help people experience awe, develop personally and professionally and determine their next steps for impact.

Dorchess designs change programs, off-sites, and workshops, drawing on her previous experience as an interim consultant and therapist. Utilising the power of group dynamics, she loves helping people grow into who they are.
