Dryw eiland, het eiland van het winterkoningkje, is een bijzondere lokatie in het groene hart van Nederland, goed bereikbaar (ook met het OV) via Amsterdam en Utrecht.
Wij, André en Angel zijn gastheer en gastvrouw van Dryw eiland en we zijn heel blij met- en dankbaar voor de enthousiaste en verbonden groep vrienden die het mooie werk hier ondersteunt.
Angel omschrijft dat werk altijd heel kort en krachtig: "wij verspreiden liefde".
Al ruim 20 jaar vinden op Dryw eiland uiteenlopende sjamanistische ceremonies, retraites, workshops, coaching sessies en bijeenkomsten voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling plaats. Daarbij zijn regelmatig elders, medicijnmensen, wisdom keepers en ceremoniële leiders uit native culturen in de hele wereld te gast.
Uit de grond van ons hart danken wij deze mensen omdat ze met ons, de kinderen van de blanke man, hun wijsheid delen en ons laten zien hoe we kunnen leven met respect voor- en in spirituele verbinding met de elementen en moeder natuur. Dat we één zijn met alles om ons heen, mens, dier, boom, plant, aarde, steen, water, lucht en ether. Ze brengen ons de oude kennis en gebruiken terug die onze voorouders ook hadden.
Het terugvinden van onze eigen spirituele wortels in het land van onze voorouders, ons ermee verbinden en vanuit deze bron léven is onze belangrijkste missie.
Zweethut/Inipi ceremonies
Ieder jaar worden er meerdere openbare inipi/zweethut ceremonies georganiseerd. In ieder geval bij de 8 seizoenswisselingen / zonnewendes, maar er kunnen ook speciale doelgroep ceremonies zijn op andere tijdstippen, zoals specifieke mannen- of vrouwenhutten en familiehutten met kinderen. Het is ook mogelijk om zelf een zweethut aan te vragen voor een specifieke doelgroep en/of bij een speciale gelegenheid.
Het hele eiland huren voor een eigen activiteit of ceremonie kan ook, na een kennismakings/intake gesprek, persoonlijk of via de telefoon.

Dryw island, the island of the little Wren bird, is a very special location in the 'Green Heart' of the Netherlands, easily accessible (also by means of Public transport) via the nearby cities of Amsterdam and Utrecht.
We, André and Angel, are host and hostess of Dryw eiland and we are very happy and thankful for the community of enthousiastic and connected friends who support the beautiful work here. Angel always describes the work in short and powerful: "we spread love".
For over 20 years a variety of sjamanistic ceremonies, workshops, retreats, coaching sessions and gatherings for personal development take place here.
Many elders, medicine people, wisdom keepers and ceremonial leaders from Native cultures all over the world are regular guests.
From the bottom of our hearts we give thanx to these people because they share their wisdom with us, the children of the white man, and show us how to live with respect for and in spiritual connection with the elements and mother nature. That we are one with everything around us, humans, animals, trees, plants, earth, stone, water, air and aether. They bring back the old knowledge and customs that our ancestors also had.
Retrieving our own spiritual roots in our ancestral grounds, to connect with them and live our life from that source is our main mission.
Sweatlodge (Inipi) ceremonies
Every year multiple Sweatlodge (Inipi) ceremonies are organized. At least with all 8 season changes and equinoxes, but there will also be special target group ceremonies at other dates, like Sweatlodges for men- and woman only or family lodges with kids.
It is also possible to do a request for a Sweatlodge for a specific target group or a special occasion.
To rent the whole island for your own activity or ceremony for one day or longer is also possible, after an introductory / intake interview, in person or by phone..
