1-DAY WORKSHOP - Sacred Grief Work - Sunday, July 5, 2026, in Isis Sofia in Dalfsen
(Next dates are: 4 september and 15 november also at location Isis Sofia in Dalfsen).
This workshop is for you if you have experienced loss in your life—whether it be the loss of a child, partner, family member, friend, health, job, dreams, language, culture, or country of origin—and you’re struggling to cope with grief and all the emotions that come with it.
This workshop will help you:
- Develop skills to embrace grief with compassion and reverence, trusting in its sacred wisdom.
- Understand your emotions as an intelligence that guides you toward who you are as a whole, living human being.
- Let go of old stories that no longer serve you.
- Allow sadness, guilt, shame, silence, and anger to flow through you, so that you return to the natural flow of life.
- Create a new, healthier culture in which sadness is honored rather than shamed and suppressed.
We invite you to experience one or more of the following elements:
- sacred sounds + sound healing
- poetry + writing exercises
- listening + sharing in the whole group + smaller circles
- community ritual + ritual sanctuaries
Time: 9:30 AM–17:00 PM
Format: Small-group workshop (maximum 12 people)

De workshop "Sacred Grief" is een cadeau aan jezelf. Ik liep de afgelopen jaren al met een gevoel dat er in mijn lijf sprake is van onverwerkt verdriet; Grief... Ik hoefde dan ook geen moment te twijfelen of ik deze workshop zou gaan volgen en heb mij direct ingeschreven. Ik had niet echt een idee van wat ik kon verwachten. In een eerdere workshop van Ríonach heb ik de kracht van gedichten al mogen ervaren. In mijn gedachte zou het een combinatie zijn van magische, helende gedichten en vermoedelijk veel tranen. Maar deze reis ging veel dieper. Voorbij de tranen; op een veel dieper niveau een shift kunnen maken. De "Grief" kunnen omarmen en kunnen voelen en ervaren wat er achter of onder verborgen ligt. Als je dan eindelijk, na al die jaren, de "golddust" mag gaan zien en gebruiken... Dan heb je een onvergetelijke workshop meegemaakt. En dat was het! - Tom -
