We gaan weer lekker samen bewegen zonder doel of vastigheid. Ontdekken wat er ontstaat in de dans, met jezelf en met anderen. En manieren om dit speelveld te verbreden. (Info over wat contactimpro inhoudt, staat onderaan.)
Er zal een workshop gegeven worden waarin aandacht is voor verschillende onderdelen van contactimprovisatie. Bewegen vanuit jezelf en veiligheid binnen de dans krijgen altijd aandacht. Verder worden de thema's de week voor het evenement gekozen en voorbereid. Wil je graag van tevoren weten waar we mee gaan spelen, of heb je een voorstel, neem gerust contact op. Tijden
Inloop is vanaf 14.00 uur. Om 14.15 start de workshop die rond 15.45 uur overgaat in een jam = vrij dansen. Het is mogelijk om alleen met de jam mee te doen. De jam duurt tot ongeveer 17.45 uur. We sluiten af met een (vrijblijvend) deelrondje.
Praktisch
Er zijn water, thee en wat kleine snacks aanwezig. Neem je je eigen theemok mee?
Draag soepele, zachte kleding. Zorg voor meerdere laagjes, zodat je je kleding kunt aanpassen aan je temperatuur.
Aanmelding + betaling
Via het gratis ticket kun je aangeven dat je mee wilt doen. Last-minute beslissen kan ook.
Betaling is op donatiebasis. Richtlijn:
workshop+ jam: €35
alleen workshop: €25
alleen jam: €15
Als dat bedrag voor jou te hoog is, is minder bijdragen dus oké. En als je het missen kunt, is meer welkom, zodat we contactimpro op deze manier kunnen blijven aanbieden.
Betaling graag contant; er is wisselgeld. Via Tikkie is ook mogelijk.
SPEURTOCHT NAAR DE STUDIO
Voor je navigatie toets je in: Edisonstraat 163, Eindhoven.
Hiernaast is de parkeergarage waar je de auto of fiets gratis kunt parkeren onder het gebouw. Als je voor de poort staat, bel 06-83456386, dan open ik de poort voor je.
Loop de garage weer uit en ga linksaf. Op het kruispunt ga je zonder over te steken linksaf de Marconilaan op. Loop om het grote zwarte gebouw, de Obelix, heen richting de Boschdijk.
Als je linksom de Obelisk heen bent gelopen, zie je de toegangspoort in de hoek (links naast café Bosporos). Bel aan bij nummer 4B en we openen de deur voor jou. Vervolgens loop je de trap met grote treden op. Boven ga je links de hoek om en loop je rechtdoor. Je ziet dan de studio’s aan het groene pleintje. Aan de linkerkant is studio 4B, dit staat in groen op het raam.
Contactimprovisatie
Het is een vrije dansvorm: het hoeft er niet op een bepaalde manier uit te zien. Iedere dans is weer anders. Je ontdekt wat er in het moment kan ontstaan aan beweging vanuit jezelf.
In contact met anderen ontdek je hoe je samen kunt bewegen. Anderen geven je meer mogelijkheden om te bewegen: je kunt elkaar spiegelen of juist niet, een gezamenlijke beweging maken, elkaars gewicht delen, over elkaar heen rollen, draaibewegingen maken, enz. Dat kan rustig, voelend zijn, maar ook energiek en/of speels.
Als je beide aan blijft voelen hoe je zelf wilt bewegen en hoe de ander beweegt, dat als inspiratie gebruikt, kan er een dans ontstaan die zichzelf lijkt te sturen.

We’re going to enjoy moving and dancing together without a goal. Discovering what emerges in the dance and what can expand this playingfield. (More info about what contact improvisation is can be found at the bottom.)
A workshop will be offered that explores various aspects of contact improvisation. Moving from within and creating safety in the dance are always central. Themes are chosen and prepared during the week leading up to the event. If you’d like to know in advance what we’ll be exploring, or if you have a suggestion, feel free to get in touch.
Schedule
Doors open at 14:00. The workshop starts at 14:15 and transitions into a jam (free dancing) around 15:45 PM. It’s also possible to join just for the jam, that will continue till about 17.45. We round up with a short sharing of experiences, not obliged.
Practicalities
Water, tea, and small snacks will be available. Will you bring your own tea mug? Wear soft, flexible clothing. Dress in layers so you can adjust to your body’s temperature.
Registration and payment
You can let us know you want to join using the free ticket. Deciding last minute is also an option.
Payment: by donation with a guideline:

just workshop: €25
just jam: €15
If that amount is too high for you, donating less is fine. And if you can spare it, more is very welcome, so we can continue offering contact improv this way.
Payment in cash is preferred, change is available. Tikkie is also an option.
NOTE: A TREASURE HUNT TO THE STUDIO

Next to it is a parking garage where you can park your car or bike for free under the building. If you are at the gate, call 06-83456386. I will open it for you.
Exit the garage and turn left. Walk along the Edisonstraat towards the crossing and turn left to the Marconilaan. (don’t cross the street) Walk around the big black building called the Obelix in the direction of the Boschdijk.
If you walked around the Obelix you see the entrance-gate in the corner (to the left of café Bosporos). Ring the bell of number 4B and we’ll open the gate for you. Wwalk up the stairs with large steps. At the top, turn left around the corner and walk straight across the green courtyard—you’ll see the studio’s. The window has “4B” written in green.
Contact Improvisation
It’s a free-form dance: there’s no set way it should look. Each dance is different. You discover what movement can arise in the moment from within yourself.
In contact with others, you explore how to move together. Others offer you more possibilities for movement: you can mirror each other—or not—create shared movement, share weight, roll over one another, spin together, and more. It can be gentle and sensing, or energetic and playful.
If both dancers stay attuned to how they want to move and how the other moves—and use that as inspiration—a dance can emerge that seems to guide itself.
