Speel je al een tijdje handpan en wil je verder dan de patronen die je kent? Op zaterdag 14 november geeft de Zwitserse handpanspeler en componist Bruno Ferreira een masterclass in onze studio. Bruno heeft een achtergrond in jazz, slagwerk, piano en compositie. Toen hij in 2021 de handpan ontdekte, bracht hij al die ervaring samen in een eigen speelstijl waarin ritme, melodie en harmonie elkaar vinden. In deze masterclass laat hij je de handpan ontdekken als een compleet instrument.

Wat je gaat doen:
* je ritmische, melodische en harmonische woordenschat uitbreiden
* werken aan de onafhankelijkheid van je handen, voor meer souplesse en vrijheid in je spel
* improviseren en componeren, zodat je je eigen melodieën en muzikale verhalen maakt
* ideeën en gevoel omzetten in muziek die echt van jou is
* persoonlijke tips van Bruno voor jouw spel

Voor wie? Je hebt de basis al onder de knie, meestal na zo'n 3 tot 6 maanden spelen. Twijfel je of het bij je niveau past? Stuur ons gerust een berichtje.

Been playing handpan for a while and ready to go beyond the patterns you know? On Saturday 14 November, Swiss handpan player and composer Bruno Ferreira teaches a masterclass at our studio. Bruno has a background in jazz, percussion, piano and composition. When he discovered the handpan in 2021, he brought all of that experience together in a playing style of his own, where rhythm, melody and harmony meet. In this masterclass, he helps you discover the handpan as a complete instrument.

What you'll work on:
* expanding your rhythmic, melodic and harmonic vocabulary
* hand independence, for more fluidity and freedom in your playing
* improvisation and composition, so you can create your own melodies and musical stories
* turning ideas and feelings into music that's truly yours
* personal tips from Bruno for your playing

Who is it for? You've got the basics down, usually after around 3 to 6 months of playing. Not sure if it fits your level? Feel free to send us a message.
