The Inner Resonance is a half-day mini retreat inviting you to slow down, open the heart, and journey inward through sound, stillness, and embodied presence.
This collaborative offering by Louis Parker and wife Mayra weaves together ceremonial cacao, yin yoga, and an extended electronic sound journey into one coherent and deeply nourishing experience.
We begin by gently arriving and grounding, opening the space with a ceremonial cacao to support heart connection, presence, and intention. This creates a safe and supportive container for the afternoon ahead.
From there, Mayra will guide a 60-minute yin yoga practice - a slow, meditative journey into the deeper layers of the body and nervous system. Through long-held postures and conscious stillness, the practice supports release, receptivity, and inner listening.
After a short break with light snacks, fruit, tea, Louis will offer a brief and accessible presentation about sound healing, sharing how sound works on the nervous system and how to listen during the journey that follows.
The experience culminates in a 75-minute immersive electronic sound journey, allowing the body and mind to fully surrender into vibration, resonance, and deep rest. The journey unfolds gradually, guiding participants from grounding into expansion, release, and integration.
We close the afternoon with a gentle closing circle and soft landing, with space to ground, reflect, and return slowly to the outer world.
This is a longer, more spacious and ceremonial experience than a regular sound journey, ideal for those seeking depth, nervous system regulation, and meaningful rest.

About Cacao -
Cacao is a gentle, heart-opening plant medicine that has been used ceremonially for centuries. Its effects can be both calming and subtly energising, and may vary from person to person.
Don’t worry, this isn’t “choco-bliss” or anything that will have you seeing unicorns and gnomes 😉
Think of it more as a warm, nourishing hug for the heart, supporting presence, connection, and openness.
Caution -
If you are using MAO-based antidepressants, have high blood pressure or heart conditions, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a medical professional before participating.
If you prefer not to drink cacao, that is completely fine, a chai tea alternative will be available. Simply let us know on the day.
