FLUTE LOVERS GATHERING 🎶
A Devotional Bansuri Get-Together with Krishangi Lila

Monday June 15 • 19:30–21:00
@ Tory’s Living Room, Amsterdam

An intimate evening for flute lovers, bansuri players, curious beginners, and devotional musicians who wish to explore the deeper spirit of the flute together.

Rather than a fixed workshop format, this gathering is shaped around the questions, interests, curiosities, and musical themes that live within the group. Bring your flute, your questions, your inspiration — or simply your love for the sound of the bansuri.

Possible themes we may explore together:
• breath & tone
• devotional playing and presence
• melody & improvisation
• playing from feeling rather than technique
• mantra & bansuri
• developing a personal practice
• how to bring more expression and soul into your playing
• Indian ornamentation and musicality
• meditation through sound

ALL LEVELS are welcome — from complete beginners to experienced flute players.
The intention is not perfection, but connection, listening, exploration, and shared devotion through music.

CONTRIBUTION

We work with a two-part contribution system:
• a base contribution of basic fee per workshop to help cover the practical costs of the day
• plus an additional value-based CASH donation afterwards, based on how you experienced the immersion and what feels aligned and possible for you

In this way we hope to keep the day accessible while also supporting the musicians, teachings, travel costs and venue in a fair and heart-centered way.

ABOUT KRISHANGI LILA 🌸

Krishangi Lila is a devotional singer, holistic voice coach, and multi-instrumentalist from Estonia. Alongside harmonium, guitar, and ngoni, she has a deep love for the bansuri — the Indian bamboo flute traditionally connected to the devotional stories of Krishna.

She has been practicing Bhakti Yoga for more than 20 years and regularly spends time in India immersed in sacred music and devotional traditions. Her workshops and musical gatherings weave together mantra, presence, sound healing, Nada Yoga, and authentic devotional expression in a grounded and heartfelt way.
