In Balinese tradition, Purnama is the sacred Full Moon ritual held each lunar cycle. It is a moment of purification, gratitude, offerings, and reconnection with the rhythms of nature. Communities gather to honour the moonâs peak energy, release what is complete, and realign with clarity and devotion.

In Bali, Purnama refers to the sacred Full Moon day, which is considered a powerful moment when:
đ energy is at its peak and most luminous
đż prayers and offerings are believed to be especially potent
đïž emotions and consciousness are heightened
đ§ purification and release are naturally supported
đș people honour balance between human life, nature, and spirit
It is often marked with offerings (banten), temple visits, prayer, and acts of gratitude. The moon is seen not just as a celestial body, but as a reflector of divine consciousness and emotional tides.

We begin by arriving into stillness through grounding and intention setting, allowing the body and mind to soften into presence.
From here, we move into a moment of release and gratitude, acknowledging what we are ready to let go of, and what we wish to honour from the past cycle.

To mark the threshold into sacred space, we will offer a moment of purification ritual & blessing in the spirit of Purnama.
đ§ đ§đ¶đżđđź (holy water) is gently sprinkled to cleanse and purify the energetic field, helping to release what no longer needs to be carried and creating space for openness and clarity.
đŸ đđ¶đ·đź (rice grains) are then placed as a symbolic seed of intention, representing clarity, new beginnings, and the planting of what you wish to cultivate moving forward.
This moment acts as a bridge between the outer world and inner journey, a sacred and meaningful ritual reset before we go deeper.
đż đđźđœđź đ đźđčđź đđ”đźđ»đđ¶đ»đŽ
We then enter japa mala chanting, using repetition of mantra to quiet the mind and settle into deeper presence. The vibration of sound and voice helps to align the heart, breath, and awareness into one steady rhythm.
đ¶ đŠđŒđđ»đ± đđźđđ” đđŒđđżđ»đČđ
From this space of devotion and openness, we gently transition into a Sound Bath Journey, where crystal bowls and healing instruments guide you into deep rest, release, and inner spaciousness.
The Full Moon amplifies everything we feel. This evening is an invitation to soften that intensity, to release gently, and to be held by sound as the lunar energy peaks.

Pritha is Balinese and was raised in Bali, where she moved at the age of four. From early childhood, she has been shaped by the islandâs spiritual rhythm, where ceremony, nature, and daily life are naturally intertwined. Within this cultural landscape, she began her lifelong relationship with yoga and holistic healing, which has remained a steady thread throughout her life.
After nearly a decade of devoted personal practice, Pritha completed her first yoga teacher training in Bali, deepening her understanding of the connection between body, mind, and spirit within the living traditions and cultural environment she calls home. Before moving to the Netherlands, she lived in Bali, where her path with yoga, ceremony, and community continued to mature through lived experience rather than study alone.
Carrying this embodied connection with her, she later co-founded a yoga studio in the Netherlands just six months after arriving. What began as Zenang Yoga & More later evolved into MahĂ© Yoga, where Pritha now holds space as the studioâs main teacher and facilitator.
Rooted in Balinese culture, where spirituality and ritual are woven into everyday life, Prithaâs work is guided by a deep respect for presence, simplicity, and inner listening. This background naturally informs her Balinese-inspired ceremonies in the Netherlands, where she gently weaves meditation, energy healing, and sound into spaces of remembrance, rest, and reconnection.
Pritha is trained in multiple yoga and healing modalities, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Myofascial Release, Aerial Yoga, Wheel Yoga, Ayurveda, Thai Yoga Massage, Face Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Therapy, Reiki (Usui Levels 1 & 2), and Sound Healing.
In her sound healing sessions, she works with Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and Koshi chimes, gong, and various other instruments, creating a layered sonic landscape that supports nervous system regulation, softens held tension, and invites deep restorative rest.
