Elementum
Adem | Beweeg | Verbind
Tony Bouman: Shakuhachi (tempelfluit), snaarinstrumenten & klein percussie
Ishmerai Gill: Percussie & handtrommels
Liefs,

Elementum
Breathe | Move | Connect
Sometimes all we need is a place where nothing is expected of us.
Elementum is a space where you are invited to arrive, to reconnect with what is alive within you, and where music doesn't ask you to perform, but gently invites you to listen. To listen to yourself, to your body, and to the people around you.
Elementum is an evening of gentle connection, where breath, movement and live music come together. We begin with simple guided exercises that help us step out of our minds and back into our bodies.
From this place of presence, there is space to move freely, to be still, or simply to rest in the moment.
The musicians for this edition are:
Sophie van der Eijk: Voice, harp, bamboo drum & small percussion
Tony Bouman: Shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute), string instruments & small percussion
Ishmerai Gill: Percussion & hand drums
The musicians create the musical landscape, and the group moves together with it. At times calming, at times energising, sometimes inviting playful improvisation and collective jamming, always responding to what naturally unfolds in the moment.
No previous experience is needed. There is nothing you need to achieve or know.
Come exactly as you are.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
We look forward to welcoming you.
With love,
