Where New Life Awakens

In this spring retreat, we will transform pain into life energy through Family Constellations, transformation through dance, and active Osho meditations — and discover more of our true essence.

Often, we want to move away from our pain. Yet when we do, it can continue to manifest itself in many different ways — through physical symptoms, depression, restlessness, loneliness, indecisiveness, feeling frozen or stuck, a sense of meaninglessness, anger, or loss of energy.

What I have experienced is that the way through is actually to move towards the pain.

What if we could experience our pain as a gift? As something that has come to bring us something, something that wants to be seen and unwrapped?

By dancing our pain, feeling it, embracing it with the energy of the heart, and becoming curious about it, we can ask:

Who are you? What do you have to tell me?

And then we may discover that within our pain lies our life force — our creativity, a fountain of life energy that we were born with.

What you may experience

During this retreat, you may discover:

* That others carry similar feelings, longings, shame and needs.

* The joy of being together with fellow travellers who have also come to (re)discover themselves, look their pain in the eyes, and embrace the full range of feelings that life brings.

* The transformation of your pain into something entirely new — something your mind could never have imagined.

* A second birth: a birth into who you truly are, into your essential nature.

The retreat and my approach:

The combination of Family Constellations, transformation through dance, and active meditations will guide you towards your essence in a way that can be deep and intense, yet also light and uplifting.

I create an open and accessible atmosphere where you can feel free to be completely yourself.

I have many years of experience with Family Constellations, dance, meditation and trauma healing. Until 2012, I worked as a medical doctor, and I am also trained in Somatic Experiencing, a body-oriented approach to trauma healing.

If there are English-speaking participants, I will translate from Dutch into English and vice versa.

The location — De Vlierhof

The retreat takes place at the ecological community De Vlierhof in Kleve, Germany, just across the Dutch border and close to Nijmegen.

The beautiful surroundings will support and hold us throughout the retreat. The group room has wood carvings, a wooden floor, clay walls and beautiful natural light. The bedrooms are warm and cosy, with a choice of a single or twin room.

There is also a welcoming dining room and a comfortable sitting area where you can relax, surrounded by the beautiful nature of De Vlierhof.

Before booking the retreat, we will have a free, one-hour personal conversation, either in person at my home in Eindhoven or online via Zoom. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other, answer any questions you may have, and explore together whether this retreat is right for you at this time.
