About Lunatica Nocti and me: GIULIA!

Lunatica Nocti was born in 2019 as an Instagram space for sharing astrology, tarot and esoteric practices. Since then, what started as a small passion has grown into my professional practice.

I’m an astrologer, tarot reader and teacher, with a background in both traditional and modern astrology. I have worked with established astrologers writing horoscopes, read more than <140 birth charts, and taught tarot through Italian academies. My tarot practice combines the Rider-Waite-Smith system with astrology and the knowledge passed down through my own lineage.

I have also studied astrogenealogy and genealogical tarot, exploring ancestry, memory, land and our connection to the *genius loci*. Italian folklore and folk traditions are an important part of my practice, alongside planetary magic, candle and salt magic, and an ongoing exploration of crystals and earth-based practices.

Lunatica means “moody” in Italian — and, funnily enough, it was one of the first words I ever said as a child. So when it came time to name this little magical creature, the name had already chosen me.

My workshops and courses are created to be welcoming, accessible and inclusive, and are offered in both Italian and English.

And yes, you will probably figure out quite quickly that I’m Italian — partly because of my pronunciation, and partly because I have a particular talent for inventing English words that, as it turns out, do not actually exist. Consider it part of the magic.

Expect astrology, tarot, folklore, ritual, a little bit of magic — and hopefully a good dose of curiosity.
